• Any, were you at a club at the time? Because I'd think not wearing a bra would be approved of by all the drunk guys.

I judge the woman at my local Publix. I get really annoyed when people talk to me about my purchases and ask questions, but normally I just play it off. This woman though took the cake. First she said my Mr. Pibbs were full of calories, then asked if the candy was all for me, then asked 4 TIMES if I wanted to swap out a bag of Tostitos for a larger bag for their buy one, get one free deal (that would cost me $2 more). I said no 4 times and she was all, "I'm sure your husband would appreciate two bags of chips!" and finally I said, "I said no, I only want one."
In Response to Re: I judge : You get all kinds of premium channels (sports, HBO, etc).  I know because my parents do it too.  They can afford it but I still judge them because it's just such a stupid waste of money when they watch like... 3 channels ever and they're all part of the basic package.
Posted by ceh789
Does seem like a waste.  I actually need to call Comcast, because we stopped getting HBO, but our bill never decreased.  I just have to get up the energy to call them.  I always feel like I'm getting the raw end of the stick with them.

<div>/nod. As long as the cut is good, you can't tell the difference between a flawless diamond and no visible flaws unless you're a jeweler. That's what we did, and I get compliments on how sparkly and pretty my diamond is all the time, and it was pretty cheap as far as engagement rings go. That chick OP was talking about in the CZ post spent more than I did on both of my rings.</div>

That's ridonkulous.  I mean if you can afford it whatevs, but if you have trouble making ends meet, super-duper premium cable would probably be something that a financial advisor would recommend you get rid of.

I did that last month when our Tivo stopped working (again) and I thought that we just needed a refresh signal (again).  Somehow our Tivo HDMI outlet has stopped working, but the component cable still works.  That was a $25 housecall from Comcast later . . .

I could do the online chat thing though.  Matt practically threw the phone at me Saturday morning and said "CALL COMCAST!".  I told him that I wasn't up for it yet.  (The bill is in my name, so I have to call.  He tried once and had issues with getting account information.)

Really I'm just jealous/sad because I'll probably never be able to afford stay at home with my kids:(

• Our cable and internet package is about $120. We don't get movie channels, but we do have stupid-fast internet.

We rarely go see a movie in a theater or rent anything. We stream Netflix and Hulu+,  and that  more than makes up for the increased internet price. Plus, H needs a really fast connection for work.

Thanks!

Yeah, in a situation where you're there for your SIL, I suppose it's not reasonable to actually walk out the door. But you could say, "this no longer open for discussion" and then just leave the room. She tries to bring it up again, leave the room. Show her you mean it.

<div>I've worked as the sample girl before and holy cats do I judge people when I do that.  People take like fistfulls of samples and coupons, come back 3-4 times.  The worst though is that you're not allowed to give it to a kid if their parents aren't there - I've had parents come back and YELL at me for not letting their 6 year old take a sample.  Unbelievable.</div>
• I know we pay 30 bucks for cable since it's included in our rent, but I honestly have no idea how much we pay for our internet.
• My aunt didn't come to my wedding because we chose not to have it in her state (a state in which I have never lived). She's PISSED that my grandma hung up a family photo with everyone but her and her son.
• Adamar, that really sucks about your IL's.  I feel so grateful that none of our parents pressured us to get married, and now they're not pressuring us for kids.  Maybe it's because my parents divorced, and Matt's parents didn't have kids until they were in their 30s.  I'm grateful regardless.

I hate that!!!  That's why I avoid Costco on weekends because I fantasize about using my cart as a weapon too much.

I judge the British guy who was in my shop yesterday who was trying to hide his accent and let it slip anyways (ever heard a British guy says "baseball" and try to hide an accent? not possible).  I asked him why he was trying to cover up his accent he said it was because he thought that I would "dig an American guy more than a British guy".  SMH.  I told him I dig guys who don't try to hide who they are.

• I judge the folks who get the shopping carts with the little cars in front of them, then can't figure out how to maneuver the thing without crashing into people and displays. That car does not contain an airbag, and my ankles are not just speed bumps.
• Yeah, we've gotten zero pressure from my mom.  She delivers babies.  She sees them all the time.

One sweet thing about moving to my mom's house: cable!  We haven't had cable in at least 4 years.
