Steffi, I get what you mean about not making friends. I lived in another state for 9 months, and didn't make one new friend. My friends here have been my friends for 20 years.

Hi y'all. Big-ish doings around today. H has just started talking about a career change. Then today I found out that my boss is leaving. I'm hoping I can parlay that into an opportunity of some sort.

Also, I've signed up to start volunteering with a local rescue.
