Hi Loops!  I'm kinda in and out.  Making some turkey burgers for dinner, and then probably sitting on the couch with some wine watching movies.

I love turkey burgers.  I had dinner with H before work tonight.  We went to Chili's.  He is going out drinking with one  of his buddies tonight.  I'll see him for a few hours tomorrow night and all day Sunday .

Andy - CHEATER!!  LOL.  I went nowhere.  At least the excercise seems to have balanced the holiday cookies and Aunt Flo - which it sounds like we ALL have AF this week?

Hola.  I'm in and out.  We stayed in because of my stupid cold and me feeling like my head isn't attached to my body.  So I'm waiting on my frozen pizza to finish cooking.  No one be too jealous.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kiki, and it sucks that people jumped all over her about her debt and income and blah blah blah... And I really don't care about how much money they make, but it really really irks me that she's foreclosing on her townhouse when they are financially able to make the payments, they are just taking the easy way out of being upside down on it.  People doing that have such a negative impact on the housing market in general, and the lending market which totally affects ME and everyone else who owns a house or wants to buy one 

And I say this as someone who is using every penny of wedding gift $$ and then some in order to have the cash to pay off the difference in my mortgage and what I will be able to sell my house for.

Yeah, that thread did get really mean at the end.  And I don't agree with the tack it took with them attacking her that way.  It was really unnecessary.  It feels unethical to me too, and I think LONG term it may work out, but short term (if 7-10 years can be short term) it will cause them more problems then they realize I bet.

I have been very tempted with foreclosure/ short sale.  we'e in a very similar situation to kiki (well from what she has said on here) and we get more and more in debt every month, simply from paying the bills we have to.  When we bought out house, H had a much better job.  It really sucks, but it quite possibly could come to a point where we don't have a choice.

I feel like short sale is so much better for all involved parties - maybe not the bank 100% but better than straight up foreclosure.

H still owns his condo in Chicago and we lose a little money on it every month.  I'm so glad that I have always been a renter.

I just don't see that as particularly mean. She put the info out there, Nebb found it and MFJ was being MFJ. None of this surprises me in any way, nor do I find it disturbing at all. Kiki herself said she knew how long Knot memory is and what can happen when you post stuff like she posted. Nothing in that thread is a bfd to me.
