[QUOTE]In Response to Re:Morning everyone : That's good to know. H is going to be raising fish for an aquaculture project soon so we are going to have his nursery plus the fish to consider, in addition to the frozen fish studies in our freezer. We lose power a lot so it might be worthwhile to get renters insurance just in case the pumps go out for too long and whatnot. I'm not sure if it would cover that, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I wouldn't think the renters would cover his business stuff, but don't quote me on that.  Definitely ask about it, though.

    Morning ladiesI

I'm late, busy trying to get things done so I can leave early!

Sesh- Hope everythings better by the time you get home.

Nebb- You really need to start filming, like NOW!

Anna- I bought the gnome house! I think H is right though the tiny tools would come up missing.

Tonight is grocery shopping for tomorrow and this weekend. Up early tomorrow to pick up Momma, she's all excited.

    BK-sorry about your friends mom.

Yeah I'm not holding my breath about it. Who knows if he will even get it going (depends on another guy pulling through). He has business insurance, but the fish stuff is separate from his company.

I barely know the national anthem. The other songs I just know pieces to, or I only know the words if I'm singing along at the time, otherwise I can't think of them.
  • Morning guys.

I am kind of fucking pissed off.  Lucy is still spinning and scooting around on the carpet.  We've had her anal glands expressed like three times in the past three months and yesterday she took the last of her medication for what the vet deemed was "probably" a urinary tract infection.  She is doing the scooting even MORE now than she was before, I feel like.  WTF.  And we are leaving for the lake today so we can't get her back to the vet til Monday at the earliest :(  The only thing I think it could be would be like, a worm or something, but she takes medicine for that once a month.  So I have no idea.  There is either something seriously wrong with my dog and my vet is a fucking dumbass OR she's just a little asshole who likes to drag her butt on my carpet.

It's most likely this. If you've taken in a stool sample recently, worms would have shown up. Some dogs just rub their butts on the carpet, hell even my cat does it.

Like, all the time though!?  GAH.  She had her poop checked at her yearly appointment in... March?  And everything was fine.  She started her heartworm medicine on June 1st.

It just seems excessive.  And I'm a worry wart, so, there's that too.

Atticus had a piece of grass coming out of his one day. My friend said it was his pull start. Dogs are weird, mine has yellow fuzzy crap in his poo from a toy he chews the hair off of.

Haha, I love that we are talking about stuff that comes out of our dogs. I have also had to pull hair and/or long pieces of grass out of Jett's bum. It really isn't so bad. And he always has mini pieces of his toys in his poop. When you think about it, it's humbling being a dog owner. You are not too good to pick up poop and look at what's in it!

  • Whisky eats our hair frequently. He's not very smart. I either have to pull it out of his mouth or his ass. He also eats that grassy stuff in Easter baskets so we have to keep a close eye on him. That stuff sucks to pull out of his butt because it breaks so easily.

So, yeah. Check Lucy's butt for stray AATB hairs.

  • Well, I just tried to call my house and the phone rang, so I'm hoping/assuming that means the power AND Comcast is back. JEA was supposed to call when power was restored though, so I'm not sure.
  • Moose got into the trash a few weeks ago and ate the foamy pad that is in chicken packaging. That stuff was coming out for days and it was really gross. Luckily FH usually has to walk him rather than me.

The cat freaks me out because she likes to chew on plastic bags. I have no idea why but she'll lay on them and them try to eat them. I'm always taking them away from her because I am afraid she'll get a bowel obstruction or something.
