Oh boo hiss. Thats when I'd go back on the pill just to keep my period away from the wedding and honeymoon. In fact I may do just that.

if you are so irregular that you can't even figure out how often you get your periods, i wouldn't put too much stock in what the website says.

• Are we talking about periods now?
• I think we are Cew :)

It might help too because "in general" after you ovulate you will get your period in 12-16 days. Normally it's the ovulating part that gets delayed for people with longer cycles. If you can pinpoint when you ovulate you might have a better idea of when to expect it (assuming you ovulate at all).

Oh man. I missed so much.

Did we vote on who our favorite serial killers are?

And Blue, I'm fascinated by your ability to see dead people. When they talk to you, do they have normal voices? What do they say? Are they asking for help or is it normal chit chat? Are they people you know?
• I would be sad if I got my period on my wedding. But if I woke up with a cold sore, I'd postpone the whole thing.

Is that unreasonable?

Well its kind of hard to explain to people who cant do it.

Sometimes the voices are really clear, sometimes they are not. Sometimes they dont "talk" at all. I will just get a picture or thought in my head. Like their name or how they died. I really do try to ignore it and block it out because it scares me.

Its not really just chit chat. And its not like a normal full sentances conversation. Sometimes they want help, sometimes they dont know they are dead. Sometimes they are just curious that I can see them.

I guess the best way to explain it is that there are different types of spirits. Those that are dead and stuck here, and those that come back to visit. I have seen family before, but they come in dreams alot. Maybe its that they know an actual aparition scares me?

it all kind of goes hand and hand with the other "abilities" (??) I have. I have always been facinated with old buildings and places and have always been able to tell you what happened there. I dream things that happen, I can pick bad people out of crowds. At the club I can tell you when a fight is about to pop off just by reading the crowd.

I think i am just super sensitive to all these things. I am sure that if i wanted to develop acutal medium abilities I could, but the thought of it scares the crap out of me. Plus, the thought of people thinking I am insane is not fun. The whole thing is something I keep uber private irl.

Its not like there are schools for this stuff ya know? If I could make it all go away I probably would.

No one that I know of in my family. I am not even sure they actually believe me. My mom does I think since she pays attention to my dreams and validates alot of them. But most of the time they just tease me about it. I knew my sister was pregnant before she finally told me and asked her if she was daily for 3 months. She keep saying no and I kept saying "I know you are!". I dreamt her birth too and knew she was going to have a girl, but didnt tell her becuase she wanted it to be a surprise. I also predicted the sex of many of my friends babies.

I mentioned in the other thread about how there is a woman here in Salem who is a well known psychic/witch. She has a shop that I go to alot to get incense and herbs. I was there one day and she came up to me, stared me dead in the eyes for a good 15 seconds, touched my hand and said "I know what you can do and you should not be afraid of it, embrace it".

That scared the crap out of me. I have considered taking her workshops, but they are expensive and more Wicca based than mediumship based.

FWIW- This is the most I have ever talked about this in my life, lol.

Actually, there are! Here in the Bay Area we have the Berkeley Psychic Institute. :) www.berkeleypsychic.com

I have never been there and my one psychic friend went through training there and has mixed feelings about it. It's expensive, too, and some of it seems to delve a little too much into the hippie-dippie stuff for me.
