A guy driving a Perkin's company vehicle was drunk and ran a red light and hit my mom. Her car slip 100 yards on its roof. I haven't eaten at Perkin's since 3rd grade. My parents forbid it.

I see Daff, I think it's fairly normal for people to have children though. I think if I wanted 10 kids that would be excessive, regardless, that would be up to me to decide.. Nothing wrong with having children imo.

Yes, the Blind Side was ooshy gooshy and a bit predictable, but I loved it. I think it helps that FI and I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL! And he's from the South so we laughed at all of the SEC football coach cameos.

It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not only was it cliched, and predictable, I kind of found it offensive. i object to the statement that "it's normal to have children". that implies "it's abnormal to not have children". also, regarding what's excessive, more than 2 is excessive imo, and more than 3 definitely is. it makes me nuts seeing all of the outcry about the oil spill, the poor oily pelicans - and i'm thinking maybe this will finally wake people up to the fact that there are too many people in this world and every single person that is created adds an exponential carbon footprint - and people continue to pump out an excessive number of kids.

I agree that four kids is overkill. Unless you need them for farmwork, one or two will suffice. I'm having one to do the laundry and one to mow the lawn.

I know you're not just picking on me. I didn't mean to imply (although I can see how I did) that not having children is abnormal. I just mean that the whole having children thing is common, its how we got here afterall. :P

Mandy, Montana is SO beautiful.

This weekend I am going to Sequoia Nat'l Park to do an 8 mile hike FI is salviating over.

The only flame I've had for weeks is some girl and now I can't remember her name. Anyway, she made 2 posts a few weeks ago. One was how her FI wanted to put "obey" in HER vows, but not his. Then she commented on something a few days later about how she used to have make friends, but her FI thinks opposite-sex friendships are inappropriate, so she doesn't anymore. I hate to throw around the word red flag, but my eyes sort of popped when I read both those posts, expecially in combination.
