Me and my shiny new laptop are here. It's a Dell Studio XPS with a 16" widescreen, and is badass in every possible way. It has, I kid you not, leather on it. Who said PCs can't be sexy?

I took a PowerPoint class today. V helpful but so annoying because like 2-3 women seemed to not even know how to open a file. And we were all doing it remotely so I had to listen to the instructor constantly going "Donna. Are you with us Donna? No, Donna, close that one out and open X". And on and on and on. BUT it got me out of the office for the day so it was worth it.

I've been immensely all afternoon that everyone pronounces my name va-gina. it was totally my nickname in middle/high school. and my sister used to call me Diva G... which eventually became d-vag... mingia!

I'm here now, was playing with the cable man who arrived promptly at 5:00 and was awesome! I have HD again yay *jumps up and down*Random co-worker story - I work with computer troubleshooting at a high school, with another lady. Today I had to spend an hour trying to teach her the difference between files (as in, word file, excel file, etc) and folders (you know, the things the files go in).This lady makes as much as I do, this is pathetic.

I just got in. Was going to go out to visit my sister, but it's dark and nasty outside, traffic sucks, I didn't have a change of clothes, and I had to pee, so I came home instead. But I am not doing anything tonight. ANYTHING. It's DH's turn to clean.

It's about a teenage girl who comes from a poor home and is abused. I think it is going to be quite dark, at least that's how it seems from the previews, but it looks like it's going to be an Oscar movie and I'm always the geek who tries to see as many nominated films as possible. Last January I saw twelve movies in a period of about two weeks. It's a fun hobby - good thing FI shares my enthusiasm.

Oh, I am also very helplessly and futilely looking at wedding dresses. I've suddenly realized that not only do I not know where to look, I have NO IDEA what I am looking for or even how to begin to narrow it down. I have no idea. I just have no idea at all and I don't know even where to begin.

Sure will. I'm expecting great things from the buzz I've heard.Next week when I spend the weekend with FI we are going to see New Moon so we can each have someone to whisper snide comments to, and also The Men Who Stare at Goats. I am looking forward to both.
