I want to know too. I do interact with her a little, but definitely not enough to come right out and ask. It must have been a hell of an argument for her to call the whole thing off so suddenly.

MuSu - we are probably moving and not sure about where we will be and then new apartment rules. Plus April runs out of open doors, so we're just not sure how it will all work out before we buy a house. It's just a thought (one that I'm not so keen on, but just a possible solution).

I'm glad that I'm not the only crazy puppy parent.

ETA: We have found a few apartments that allow large dogs. Just have to make sure that they don't consider her an "aggressive breed", being half white German shepherd. But she's also half corgi, such a sweetheart!

Ha, Holly. It's a beautiful picture, but something about the light reflections (I'm assuming that's what did that), makes it look like you have a glow stick injected into your arm. It must have been quite the party!

LDY - doggy cuddles! I love it! Although April tries to do it when I want to sleep, and then gets mad when I stop petting her. I want to be all "Why don't you want to do this when I'm just chilling in front of the TV!?!" Silly puppies!

This is a P&R since I'm super-swamped, but I'm so excited!!! FI and I have been trying to move to Chicago for what seems like forever. I lived there during college/grad work and really missed it. Anyway, I spent the past month interviewing for positions and got a formal offer this morning. Yay!

FI works from home 95% of the time, and Amtrak will make it super easy for him to go back to Ann Arbor for the occasional project meeting, so he doesn't have to quit his job. Double yay.

Finally, my SN will make sense instead of having "Detroit" under it.
