Night Thread

I didn't see one, so here goes...

Angel, how did your FI's bar exam go? Does he feel like he did okay? (Is it even over?)

  • Hi you, wrig, nice sig picture.  I like it, ALOT!

H is working another double.  I am sitting a minute and then heading to the mall to do a birthday return and hit up VS with some coupons I have.  Maybe hit the garden center to get a new plant for my office.

    Is it the weekend yet?

I'm here procrastinating on cleaning some more...ugh.  I got the kitchen done (except the floor) and the dining room table cleaned off.  I gotta get all these damn boxes out of our living room.  Don't get me wrong, I'm glad people are sending us gifts, I just don't know what to do with the boxes.  I'm thinking about breaking them down so we have more boxes to use when we move to San Angelo after I get out of Basic Training.

ETA:  And I left my keys in FI's car yesterday, so all the errands I was supposed to do today didn't get done.  So I can't go anywhere until he gets home.

  • Rach, can we have pictures of this new hair cut once the deed is done?
  • Evening. This cold is driving me insane. I'm going to have to buy some cough syrup too, Dayquil is just not cutting it. Angel, I didn't realize your FI was taking the bar so soon, when did he take it?

Just got done eating dinner.  I need to wash clothes, vaccum, and exercise. H and I decided we need to start working out. I guess I've been cooking too good, our tummies show it. :P

I'm counting down until tomorrow and my massage that I have scheduled. I can't wait!

  • Hello.

I just took a Vicodin, so I'm feeling pretty good right now.  Well except for my foot (gross alert, but someone will ask - planter wart got out of control and now I can't walk on it. )

I'm trying to figure out what DH should get/make for me for dinner.

Ski - when are you going to St John.   FYI - ZoZo's will be closed in Sept.

  • A massage, enjoy that Heb.  I love a massage.  It has been way too long!

lynda- Ouch, sounds painful. I've had multiple in my life, I've been lucky that they only need frozen though. Did you have a procedure done?

  • I need to clean. A lot. Because, as you are probably all super sick of hearing THERE'S JUST SHY OF 100 PEOPLE COMING TO MY HOUSE ON SATURDAY!

I also have boxes in most rooms that need unpacking and putting away. Not a ton, but enough that we can't just stash them.

I also want to see Rach's new hair do

Thanks Ski! I can't wait, she's actually coming to my house. I'm so excited I don't have to drive afterwards.

BTW I love the new sig pic! You look fabulous!!

  • I'm sure it will look fabulous Rach. I just got off work and am getting ready to bowl. I have less than 2 weeks of summer job and it will be back to full time at my new school. I'm a little nervous.

  • I have baked chicken parm cooking in the oven, and we'll have some broccoli & cheese from those steamer bags to go with it. I was just reading an article about the rise in whooing cough cases. 18,000 have been report this year in the US. With winter still coming, they're anticipating the number to climb higher than the record 40,000 cases in 1959. People who don't vaccinate their kids makes me ragey.

    Yay, Harry!

Hey, did you have a photo shoot or a meeting with photographer or something today?

  • Evening.  I'm not sure how much longer I'll be at work.  I will probably have to stay late to finish these books (1000 pages takes FOREVER to print).

  • Lynda, in mid November.  H gave me the dates, and I have just started to book airfair and look at rental villas.  We are still in a holding pattern on the house we are under purchase agreement with.  We let them know today that we would begin to look for a new house on that trip if they couldn't get the xwife to sign off on the agreement.  The sad part is it isn't over money with her, she just wants to take her x as low as she can.  Sad, Sad, Sad.

Anyways, on a happy note, yes ZoZo's is certainly on the list.  My last trip there, it was cloudy the night we went to dinner at ZoZo's, the sunset was a dud!  But the wine was tasty and the food delish.

I am pretty stoked, last trip I also was on crutches/cane with a broken left knee, still in denial that I should have surgery.  This trip, I am all over hiking everywhere.

Good evening everyone, I'm stuck at work for another two hours and then dinner and then getting groceries.  I just wish I could go to bed instead of getting groceries.

Lynda, I'm sorry to hear about your foot.  I can't imagine how much that must hurt.

  • Right Erin?

Oh and ::sad face:: my macbook is officially dead. H has been trying to revive it for 3 weeks now, and nothing doing. That thing lasted me almost 5 years with no problems, then one day, the hard drive goes kaput. Of course nothing was backed up, so I've lost everything.

  • Skids, you could get a Dorothy Hamill bowl cut and still look great I'm sure.

Wally, just the thought of having 100 people at my house makes me squiggy.  My H's aunt is the ultimate hostess and I feel like I could never live up to the standard she's set.

Ouch Lynda!  How long do you have to keep off it?

<div>Did they give you the compound burn medicine to put on it after you had them frozen? That's what makes mine go away. I've never heard of the ACV method. I've always froze, medicine, and cover with duck tape.</div>

Wally, you are braver than I am.  I couldn't do 100 people, even if I had the space for it.

I also don't understand why parents don't vaccinate their kids.  I just don't get the motive behind it.  How is it helping the kid?

  • Edie it was for sure doing that. I never upgraded the OS, and Apple comes out with a new one each year or every other year, so I'm sure that didn't help. But it functioned fine.

  • Good question Rsanna. They hear some quack science from some discredited scientist and Jenny McCarthy and think they're kid's going to get autism. Instead the kid's just going to get whooping cough and or carry whooping cough spread it to other children who could potentially DIE from it. Way to go!
