Good Evening!

Re: Good Evening!

  • Haha thanks Doc.  My students used to both love and hate how young I was.  They figured I'm young and they used to refuse to believe that I don't write in text speak as well.

  • I feel like typing out text speak would require more thought and time for me than regular grammar.

  • I think my favorite response was always "IDK LOL."  I printed that girl out an application to McDonald's one day and said good luck.

I KNO SRSLY RT?  That takes way more thought for me.

But even if it didn't....  Text speak is for texting NOT writing.

  • Yeah, I suppose once you do it enough, it becomes natural, but why bother making that natural? It just looks gross.

What kind of pup do you have?! If you haven't already, you should AW your dog. ;)

Thanks for asking, and I got MOST of the classes I wanted. I had to settle with a different section of Property, and I'm on the waitlist for the class I REALLY wanted to get into--Wrongful Convictions (we get to learn the law behind fun stuff like DNA testing & confessions and witnesses and stuff, pertaining to innocent convicts). But I think I will probably get into that one. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied. :)

Nope, no baby yet. We just got back from a walk to the local Ice Cream shop and had some ice cream and then walked home.

Apparently the space after punctuation is not as widespread as I thought it was. My mom didn't think it was a requirement, though she does it. I guess she wasn't taught that in school, and then I asked around and some people I know weren't taught that in high school. *headdesk*

    Haha, that's awesome!

Megs, maybe you can answer this, since I seem to get conflicting opinions depending on who I ask. Did you feel that driving/the roads in Duluth were some of the worst you have ever experienced? I absolutely despise driving there, especially in the winter. The intersections have no logic and the hills are deathly with ice. Some people seem to agree with me and others think I'm just a wimp.
