When do the days start staying lighter later Snippy? It's finally not pitch black by 4:30 here, it's slowly getting better. I really think I have SAD, I have no motivation whatsoever to do anything in the winter. All I want to do is sit on my couch.
Emily, I'm all about the tropical vacation. The prospect of skiing in Chile in the summer is appealing, but I don't know much about awesome tropical vacations there. I was in Brazil for 10 days in 2005 (Campinas, Sao Paulo - and we had great Japanese food - I saw your FB post the other day). That's the closest I've been to Chile, though. Unless watching the miner rescue on TV counts, or talking to you on here.
Bummer, no Squirrly for me then. Chile has some decent beaches in the north and warm weather is very nice while you guys are in winter, but it's too far south for tropical.
H is in serious pouting mode right now. I got annoyed with him and asked him to stop chewing with his mouth open (again) and he has been a baby ever since. Man, he needs to go back to work.
People chewing with their mouth open makes me gag. One of the anesthesiologists I work with does it all the time. I can't even sit at the same table as him.
It annoys me that his parents didn't teach him better. But then, I had dinner with them... and they both did the same thing. I want to say it's because they're Asian and it's not a big deal but... I don't know. His sister doesn't do it.
I don't notice H chewing badly when we're out, but he definitely does it at home. I mean... if you can remember NOT to do it while out, why can't you remember at home?!
Snippy, I've been around a wide variety of Asians (transplants and those born in the US), and I don't remember any significant open-mouth-chewing issues.
H likes to lick the knife regardless of whether we are out somewhere or eating at home. I tell him not only is it bad manners, but he is gonna cut his freaking tongue off one of these days.
I slept till 10 and then just gotout of bed at 11.
H told me that he got confused and got to work an entire hour early this morning. Set his alarm clock wrong and didn't notice until he got to work.
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
H has been on vacation all week and for some reason never turned off his alarm on his iPhone that goes off at 545. Didn't bug me until yesterday and this morning when he left his phone downstairs and it woke me up and I had to go get it and turn it off.
I used to sleep late all the time, stupid work is training me to wake up early. Me no likey.
Re: FFT?/GOOD MORNING AWESOME EENERS!!!
Snippy, those squirrels look like they've been electrocuted.

I am impressed this thing is still going.
What's going on? Talking about manners in public or something?
