This. H does this all the time. Or, he'll put his empty ice cream bowl with some water in it and say that "it needs to soak". Um, no. The only stuff that ever needs to soak are things that have cheese or something cooked onto them. And even then, you at least have to add some friggin' soap!
I really hate that when H gets frustrated with video games, he yells. I know he's not angry with me, but hearing angry swearing coming from the living room at high volume just bugs me. It's only a game, chill the eff out.
Luckily since Sony apparently is a total shambles, he hasn't been able to play Call of Duty online for weeks.
it bugs me when I ask Fl if he's talked to so and so about such and such and he will pull out his phone right then and there and call. He's always on his bloody cell and it drives me batty. I know he's a super crazy busy guy, but I don't like driving in the car with you when you're on the phone. the. whole. time.

Nice to know I'm not the only one with this problem :).
My DH never cleans the kitchen.. I blame his mom and work. His mom always did the cleaning and he has a staff at work to do them. I just do not think it's in his radar.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
I prefer to clean myself. H has a special way to do it. When he does clean I love it, but I have to be out of the house or else it just drives me mad to watch him clean. It will easily take him the entire day to clean the kitchen, since he stops a hundred times to watch TV or play games. Then he will make lunch and dirty it again
But I have a weird thing that if I am on a cleaning rampage, I need to be alone. Even if he is in his office I ask him to go somewhere. I do not know why, it is so weird.

Mr Stacks friend calls him at like 10 on weeknights. Like dude, every single time you call he says he's in bed about to go to sleep, but yet you talk his ear off for like 10 minutes. Just b/c your girlfriend works at a bar every night doesn't mean Mr Stack is your entertainment.

Personally, I don't like them because they make me groggy no matter how long I sleep, so for me they're just not a good option.
In general - and I realize this is insane because why do I care how someone else sleeps - I just feel like grown adults should be able to make it through an entire day without sleeping. Obviously there are special circumstances, but I feel like frequent napping is either laziness or a lack of being able to properly put yourself to bed for a decent amount of sleep.
Ooh, and we always joke around that whenever I talk, all he hears is Charlie Brown's teacher's voice. Sometimes I'll ask him about something 7 or 8 times, and he just will not answer at all because he's playing on the internet or something, so I'll give up and go away in a huff, and a little while later he'll come to talk to me and be all cute and hopping around and unable to understand why I'm in a temper.
Shan, I like to clean alone too. I hate if someone else is around not cleaning, and if they are also cleaning they are probably just getting in my way.
We just bought a Soda Stream a couple of months ago, to indulge in my obsession for fizzy water and his insatiable thirst for soda. He will drink it, rinse out the bottle, and leave the empty bottle sitting by the sink. Um, honey, there is no soda fairie who comes and refills the bottles while we sleep. You empty it, YOU REFILL IT!
Same, Lynda. My MIL did everything -- cooking, cleaning, laundry. When H lived at home all he had to do was take out the trash and clean the litterbox.
I gave up on having him do the laundry because it takes him literally a week to do it. I'm not exaggerating. The clothes will stay in the washing machine for two days until he needs a shirt, and then he realizes they smell funky and he runs the wash again. Then he throws them in the dryer, but he stuffs like two loads in at once so it takes like 3 cycles to dry them. Then he takes clothes out as he needs them, and they sit in the dryer until I'm ready to do my own laundry.

Shan, H said the other day "I wonder if Sony will compensate us for this. They should give us all a free game download or something." I at first thought he meant the fact that hackers have his personal info since yeah, that's a screw up on Sony's part. No, he meant the online stuff being down. Honey, since you don't pay anything for it, they probably won't compensate you.

Stacks, one of H's friends isn't allowed to sleep over at his girlfriend's house (some weird custody thing with her ex) so he always calls as he's leaving her place and wants to hang out. No. H will even say something like, no man, I'm going to watch a movie with Sesh and spend time with her, and friend will say, 'I'll just start a fire and drink a few beers, then head out.' Dude. Go to your own hosue and drink beer.
Yes laundry- I was getting ready last night and 3 minutes before we had to leave H asked me to start a load since he needed clothes for the morning. I told him I do not have time so he can start one. He does not know how to work it. So I run over, put the soap in, put the cycle on, and tell him he just has to load it and push play. When we are leaving I notice he only has like 5 items in there and changed the setting. I had to stop, turn it back to warm, and fill it up with clothes. It is such a waste to run it with such a small load especially when there is a mountain of laundry sitting right there.
