Thanks for answering the "bar in every state" question. For the PE (professional engineering exam), there's reciprocity for most states. Of course CA is ridiculous, but most states with a high chance of an earthquake make you take the exam in their state.

So glad I've taken the PE once and don't plan on taking it again.

Meh, I think Capt. Jack Sparrow is hotter than Johnny Depp. I have different than average tastes. Mine are Lenny Kravitz, Steven Tyler, and Chris Hemsworth. Only if he's got long Thor hair though.

MuSu, good luck to him on the GRE! I know I've told you this before, but make sure he concentrates on the math. He can't ignore the verbal, but since he's a native English speaker, he will still look pretty attractive to most grad schools.

Ha!! No shaking questions on the bar? So glad I don't have to take the bar. I prefer to do math problems than write essays. Probably why I'm an engineer and not a lawyer.

Congrats, Hockey!

Yeah, it's normal for her, unfortunately. She has epilepsy. It was a petit mal seizure (just a tiny one where she sort of blanks out, has rapid eye movement, sort of makes these weird breathing sounds, almost like laughing, and doesn't remember anything for a few minutes), but it was still a little freaky. I was yelling at her and snapping to try and get her attention, but she was just sort of sitting there staring. The REM is new. I've never seen her do that before, so that was kind of scary.

She'll be okay. After she came out of it she got really belligerent (she never believes anyone who tells her she's having a seizure for the first few minutes, until some time passes and she realizes she's missing big gaps in her memory) and she kept asking what we were doing, where we were going. Fortunately I was dropping her off with my mom, so she's going right home.
