  • Bed sounds pretty awesome, I'm jealous, Muni.

  • I don't shave much when J is gone at school. Usually it ends up shave-Friday morning, and then not again until Friday of the next week, haha.

I hate shaving. That's why I own slacks, so I don't have to shave!

  • I have to shave every few days or I get uncomfortable... I can't stand body hair. I could go months without seeing FI and I'd still shave evey couple days.

  • In the winter, if I didn't see J, I'd probably go about 2 weeks without shaving my pits. Then at least 2 months on my legs. I just really don't care.
    image
  • I try to keep shaving. But I get lazy when I'm not with H. He gets mad at me when my legs are prickly lol.
  • Prior to DH I would only shave if I wanted to wear a dress and it was not tights season.

My mother and I had hair growing contests. I'm the child of a hippy... LOL

  • There's just something so satisfying to me, getting out of the shower all clean, with shaved legs, etc. I'm weird.

  • I love the early stages of relationships - FI and i would text all day & night & i would get so excited everytime I would get a new text. I would get butterflies everytime I was going to see him and smile like a huge idiot anytime anyone ever mentioned him.

    Don't get me wrong, I still love him haha and wouldnt trade him so that I could feel all that again - but it was a nice stage;

  • I shave pretty much every other day - I feel weird otherwise. My hair grows in really fast =( lol

  • I am the weird one not shaving. And, my hair grows really fast, too.

Right now I use the (valid) excuse of a lack of time.

At the time DH and I met my hair was knee length as well, so maybe I just have some kind of weird hair fetish.

  • I used to get my legs waxed once a month when I danced. Now my hair only grows in certain areas and its super fine. With my armpits ... no one sees them except J in the rare pit shot when I'm naked. So, yeah unless I'm in a swimsuit I'm not too concerned lol. When I danced every day, I shaved like twice a day.

  • Waxing...ouch. I don't think I could do it. Eyebrows are enough.
  • Lol, I'm pretty sure H being around is my excuse for NOT shaving. I only shave if other people are going to see it. I think the longest I went before H was like "Okay, that's about enough" was a month for my legs. I can only do a couple of days max for my armpits.

I wear workout tanks to the gym, and some of the weights I lift are overhead motions, so it would be akward and gross if I didn't shave my pits regularly, lol.

  • Yeah my solution to that is exercising at home, Angel, haha.

Waxing really wasn't that bad at all. Eyebrows are way more painful than legs IMO. Then again I wax my ladyshow so its all relative. haha.

  • I really want to get a Brazilian wax, but I'm too afraid, haha.

  • I haven't found wax that doesn't take the skin off with the hair. I have my eyebrows and upper lip threaded now and it's painful.

I'm back with a Mickey D's vanilla cone in hand. Yum.

Angel, those arm workouts would be awkward. Haha.  I usually shave at least  every couple days no matter what.  I do sometimes get a little lazy with the upper legs but I've been better because of my new running shorts. I used to wear knee length ones until a couple weeks ago.

  • I try to shave my legs at least once a week.  I'm better about it now that I wear capris and shorts to work and play outside a lot.

I should really be going to bed soon but I am not even close to tired.

  • I think the brazilian hurt once and then I got used to it. Angel if you take some ibuprofen before, you should be fine.
    image
  • I'm not tired, I'm just ready to go lay in bed. Looks like FI and I won't be hanging out tonight, which is fine... it's been awhile since we had a night off. I'm shocked my mom hasn't called to tell me she's worried because she hasn't seen me all day... you know, because I'm 14 and all that.

  • I'm way more self conscious about someone being up in my business than I am scared of a Brazilian hurting.  But I would love to not have to shave.  I wish it would just all....fall out.  And never come back.  ALL OF MY HAIR EVERYWHERE below my neck.

  • Haha i know what you mean J, that would be awesome. Just to not have to worry about it. I got some laser hair treatments down there and it made the hair more fine and stuff but I couldn't afford enough sessions to totally eliminate it.

Honestly though if you find an esthetician that you like, its totally not awkward. I love mine, she is awesome. I've been going to her for like, 4 years. So we catch up while she waxes, lol. Making conversation is the only way to make it not weird.
    image
  • If I had an insane amount of money, I would get so much laser hair removal.
  • I wish laser treatments didn't hurt as much as everyone says they do.  And didn't take forever.  And didn't cost thousands of dollars.  MAKE ALL THE HAIRS GO AWAY.  ALL OF THE HAIRS.

Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
  • But you know what I would wax/laser/have surgically removed first?  The pits.  That would be my first priority over legs or bikini.

Laser hair removal is NOT as painful as waxing. Honestly I didn't even really think it hurt. But I have a really high pain tolerance.

I'm nearing 30 and my mom still talks to me every night. We have gone through some periods where I worked nights or what not that we didn't talk as much, but we pretty much talk twice a day - she calls me when she gets up (she's retired) and I call her around bed time even if I'm not going to bed to let her know I got home okay.

After my roommate passed last year I had a really hard time and she really worried about me, but I appreciate it. Most of hte time! LOL
