Hey dudes.

Re: Hey dudes.

  • What happens now Bay- does she have to go to the hospital or anything? Or just take it easy? That's really scary.

And yeah, earthquake law. I'm smart.

  • Yikes, Bay. I'm glad she'll be ok. I remember seeing a girl have a seizure in a locker room in middle school. That ish is freaky.

  • Tortis -- no, she usually just goes home and sleeps them off.  She used to have one or two a week a few years ago, now she's done to one every few months or so.  She wasn't feeling well yesterday, which can sometimes preclude a petit mal.  She's only had one grand mal since she was diagnosed back in 2005, and that one she went to the hospital for.  But after a petit mal, she usually just feels disoriented and exhausted, sometimes gets a headache, and goes home and sleeps for a while.  My mom and dad keep an eye on her.

  • I think I use Banana Boat SPF 30 for body and 50 for face. My skin likes it.

  • Musu, is he looking at LSU? You could not pay me to live in Baton Rouge, even without having to do weirdo civil law.

Bay- hope she's ok. So scary. How old is she?

    We're Married!! And I couldn't be happier!
  • Yeah, LSU, Anna. I don't want to live there either really. The school is just really good for what he is interested in. Plus the whole civil law thing, hell to the no.

Edie -- I think after a certain point it doesn't do much more but I put 50 on my face anyway, haha.

  • Hi Bay.  I'm glad  your sister has them (mostly) under control.  That would be scary, I think.  How are things?  Has your H (or you?) moved out/found a new place yet?  I've not been here much, so I'm not sure where things are standing with you these days.

I'd do Johnny Depp - as anyone except Jack Sparrow - he's nasty, And most of the other celebs you guys have mentioned too - which is way more than 5 at this point :).

[QUOTE]Re: SPF.  I've heard about a certain number (SPF 40 maybe?), they're all the same.  Has anyone else heard this?

Yep. I think it's SPF 50. My mom still wears SPF 110 though, just in case.

  • Yeah, Edie, I heard the same.  But I buy the 70 anyway.  No sense?  Probably.  But I haven't burned since I started using it, so I'm loyal.

Heb -- she's going to be 27 in August.

  • I like Neutrogena sunscreen.  I use it when we go to Mexico and it always works well for me.  Their cool mist spray is awesome, but you don't get very many applications out of a bottle.

MuSu.  Not sure where in LA LSU is, or whatever but I'm too lazy to google.  Is it close enough to the state line that you could work (and take the bar) in a different state?  Baton Rouge is kind of in the northwest of the state, right?  **tries to remember where the star was on the state capitols maps in 3rd grade **

When I think rationally, I agree with this. But damned if I'm not attracted to him. I also really dig Steven Tyler, so, yeah... I'm pretty sure I've wanted Steven since before I knew what sex was.

  • Bay- I hope she feels better. It's so weird that a seizure is something that she is "used to," but I guess if they used to be that frequent, she is. That's scary.

  • Oh, celebrity guys I'd tap?  Jonathan Rhys Myers and Henry Cavill.  Definitely.

  • Not enough rum in the world Edie...
  • I use SPF 4. Maybe 8 for the first few times I'm out during the summer.

I'm not Musu but LSU is in Baton Rouge, about an hour west of NOLA. It isn't really close to any borders.

  • Loops its like 40 min or so to the southern border of MS but I have no idea what cities are around there or anything, if its at all populated enough to find a job. I would rather not risk it and I really don't think J is gonna lean toward LSU anyway.

  • What school in SC, Musu?  You couldn't pay me to move to Columbia, but I'd consider moving to Clemson or Charleston.

  • Yeah, I burn really badly too. Damn Irish skin!

I generally hate the feel of sunscreen, so I want something that doesn't feel gross. I'll check out Neutrogena and Banana Boat. Thanks!

    Celebrity? RDJ. Yum.

I went to a football game there a few years back. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but not all that far from Atlanta or Charlotte.

    CLEMSOOOOON!!!

If you guys end up there, maybe we could meet up for a football game.  We'll only be four hours away pretty soon!  I know the hubby is excited.
  • I like Neutrogena's spray-on sunscreens. They don't feel icky, and you don't have to rub it in. Easy to get all-over coverage without help.

  • Oh, and my former boss had this lake house (clicky) not too far from there.
