The reason I got sent away for Deepwater Horizon for 83 days (and had to push my wedding date back) was because the guy who was originally first in line to go said that his wife didn't have a driver's license and therefore couldn't take their son to school. What he failed to mention to our command is that he refuses to let his wife get a DL because he's afraid she'll use that freedom to cheat on him behind his back. He makes her call him whenever, say, the cable guy comes over for repairs, and then call him back once the repairman leaves.

it's like those people who take the bible so literal think that God is going to be at the pearly gates like " no you arent allowed in, you had sex with a man!" but "go ahead ax murderers\pedafiles\douch bags/etc" ..so odd!

I do NOT get this. My boss did this. She also goes and takes her daughter McDs at school about 2x a month b/c she wants her to feel special. She went to school to watch her daughter give a speech in class. She went to school to help her daughter do her science demonstration in class. <div>
</div><div>I get being an involved parent, but I don't remember parents ever being there for this stuff with their kids. I mean, I gave speeches in class all the time and did projects and what not on my own. And lunch? Mostly from the caf. </div><div>
</div><div>And her kid's school is about 20 minutes away so she'll spend almost 2 hours when she goes there so she gets to spend an hour at school. It's just weird to me. I've never seen this kind of smothering of a child at school.</div>

A girl pulled out a booklet from her church the other night because she didn't have her ID to get in the club, and said, "Look I belong to this church" like believing in God and going to church is going to make me think you are a honest and good person. I told her that that sh!t didn't work with me and that she needed a valid ID to come in. We have Bible talk a lot in this state.

  • Ladies, I totally feel you all on the FB oversharing. It's made me question even having an account because it frustrates me.

I had one guy friend on FB that was VERY religious and got married. He thought it would be appropriate (!) to describe IN DETAIL his "first night" with his wife, including that he "felt like Jesus was in between them while they made love for the first time". In between you? Really? It got more and more graphic from there.... ick!

I have another girlfriend that is a SAHM. However, I think her "new" profession is photography because he is OBSESSED with her kids and LITERALLY posts 20+ pictures of her baby on Facebook per day! Unreal. She also think her daughter has "such pretty eyes" that she constantly takes super close up pictures of the eyes... ummm hello!? That can't be good for your 3 month old's eyes... Sealed

I thought if you were over 18 your parents, spouse or legal guardian can approve the sale of alcohol for you. Maybe it's different per state, but I know at my sisters wedding I was only 20 and my Dad signed a waiver for the bar to be able to serve me. (he knew I was staying at the hotel and not driving or anything.)  ETA: and I was turning 21 at midnight so it wasn't too far off.

Well it's obvious you hate America. The American thing to do would be to break the law and serve him, then when the intoxicated underager plows his car into some nice old folks, they can sue you and the restaurant for serving him. 'Merica.
