Jaycee - Sorry, that was the last time I remember Bside saying anything about not having the money to do something. I'm clearly wrong, guess I don't pay enough attention.

That's ok. I just thought we were giving hugs to Bella for being down in the dumps..I didn't realize people thought Rdr had done something.

I do agree with Bri. Rdr did what the point of FFF is for..but in the same token, so did Hazel.
I used to dislike the look of both TOMS and UGGS and I wear them all the time now. I think both are cute; they've grown on me. I'm OK with the fact that people think they're ugly because I did too for awhile, until I tried them on with my own clothes...and felt how ridiculously comfortable they are.
    Posted by LivLeighton
That's precisely how it is for me.

I had plain blue TOMS for a while but one day I spent the whole day walking in Boston in heels and my feet were killing me. I was walking to the Crocs store by Quincy Market (Crocs. I was that desperate) and saw a sign for TOMS in Newbury Comics. I bought a pair of black glitter TOMS and realized that they can be comfortable and wicked cute.

    Let's see...
I flame people who flame people about posting too much on a certain subject. I always skip the topics that are of no interest to me (like annoying newb posts) and that's that.
Hm. I guess that's a common flame though.

I flame threads that are full of posters just saying the same thing in a different way. Like newb "I'm pre-engaged to my boyfriend of three weeks" type of posts, there doesn't need to be fifteen replying saying "You're a BSC kitten killer". Some posters add something unique and give constructive advice, but sometimes the thread just gets jammed up with people repeating the same basic ideas.

ETA: I flame myself for posting during the TOMs phase of this thread and not reading the next pages before realizing this is totally random and off subject now.
I don't think it's necessary to get pissy with RDR... she did what FFF is for, correct? The posts bugged her, and so she posted about it. She also reiterated that she feels awful & hopes that everything turns around for Bside. But, like Yaga said, it's hard to be excited & carry on a post about a G2G when someone is Debbie Downer about what is absolutely a hard situation. I've been there - I've been the broke friend. Now I'm the workaholic friend who can never do anything. But I say it once... everyone knows. I just don't think jumping down RDR's throat - when she was gentle & nice about the situation in the original post - is really the way to handle it. (And that's not for Bside, I think you took it graciously... it's for everyone else.)

I totally agree with you Bri, and with rdr for that matter.

Did I mention I also love your new siggy pic? I think I did in another thread? If not, I meant to, and got distracted by work

I agree that work is stupid for getting the way of our knotting.

I flame anyone who thinks WoW is a relationship ruiner.

People who get THAT into WoW would get THAT into something else, were WoW not around (i.e. excercise, sports [and before WoW sports were what women complained most about], car hobby, etc.). It's not the game. It's the person playing.

(And yes. I realize this is from forever ago in the thread. But I just got off work so there :P)
