Happy Hump Day!

What does everyone's day look like?  I volunteered to come into work early the days I work this week because we're short staffed on my old team.  I figured that meant I'd work an hour and a half on the old team (which I really don't like) and go over to my new team at my normally scheduled time.  Nope. Yesterday I got to spend the whole day on the old team. I'm hoping today isn't the same.

H and I went over our registry stuff last night of stuff we didn't get and made a list of stuff we still want to buy.  We're going on a shopping spree tonight to get it all, plus get anything we need for the HM.  Sunday can't come soon enough!

Ive decided I really hate "hump day" and "tgif" and "manic monday". Days of the week go by, quite frankly friday is not always the best day and sometimes mondays are awesome. Its an irrational irritation of mine.

I ha e to leave work early today to take vin to the vet for exams before his surgery tomorrow. I feel sick to my stomach and i had a weird dream adam was playing hockey with rob lowe.

Morning.

It's another short week for me, thank goodness. I hate that I don't have the stamina I used to, and lately the work days are killing me. But, I'm currently enjoying a delicious fruit, yogurt and granola parfait, so that's helping me gear up for the work day.

H and I are having some maternity photos done tonight. It wasn't something I was really keen on doing, but my parents were really in support of it since I'm an only child and this may be their only grandchild. I put my foot down and will not be getting any of those weird bare belly shots, though. We're heading to a local beach at sunset to take some shots, so I think it will be alright.

Instead of hump day, nebb, how about "2 days til Sesh gets to meet Mehg" day?

I was just trained on a new product launching at work, so that's what I'll be doing today. I'm actually kind of excited because it allows for way more creativity.

I'm surprisingly not tired at the moment. We went to bed late after bailing water out of the garage and front porch but I slept like the dead for once. It was nice.

Today is more of nothing. Most the people in our office are in Chicago, so it's boring. I tried to take Atticus for a walk last night, but he pulls so much, it was hurting my hand. I'll wait till Thursday when my friend and her Husky can walk with us, Drago is the pace dog.

Just waiting for this week to be over, I go pick up my mom on July 4th so she can come stay with us a few days. She's never been up to the house and I have a hair appt. on Thurs. so I got her a pedi appt.

I'm jealous of everyone's trips. I don't get to take a big trip this summer and I'm sad. Just too much stuff going on this summer. Ugh. Welp gonna go shower. Talk to you hoes lata!

So the annoying guy at my work, the one whpo whistles all day, I've started counting how often he passes my desk, be it for the bathroom, kitchen, photocopier, whatever. He passes by 30 plus times a day. That seems like an extreme waste of time if you ask me. I'm going to do some controlls with other people to see how it compares. This is really just to amuse myself cause I don't like him.

I can't believe it's only Wednesday. This week is dragging worse than usual. Thank we're going away for the 4th, I really need a break. 

That sounds like an amazing trip Duds! My dad and stepmother go to Tuscany almost once a year and I'm always jealous. I have heard great things about Cinque Terre too and would love to get there one day. How was Rome? When I was there a few years ago it was too damn hot to enjoy. I'd love to go back when it isn't the middle of July.

I've got a busy day at work today. I'm trying to get a ton of stuff done before I leave for vacation. Next week at this time, we'll be on our way to Wisconsin for a week and a half I'm so excited to not have to work, and just be able to relax and enjoy myself.

Morning! I will have to log on later to see Chels sig pic. Have I mentioned I hate mobile? I blame the mobile TK for me not being around lately, oh and the tech guys at work for blocking every website known to man. Sigh. Today is a typical Wednesday. I've been tired and sinusy lately so I'm hoping I can suck it up to get a run in. I'm also debating changing my mode of transportation into work. There is a huge hike in fares effective July 1st and I'm not so excited for that... My current monthly pass went up 50 bucks.

I bet I walk past the front desk at least 30 times/day, between bathroom, meetings, filling up my water bottle, and making copies/shredding/recycling.  But, I still probably get more work done than anyone at the front desk. They are always on facebook/amazon/pinterest. (fine, wahtever, but don't ignore the phone while doing so.) Yesterday, one of our students was wearing a baggy hoodie and running shorts. It, no lie, looked like she wasn't wearing pants. *sigh* 

That was a random tangent. anyway.

So I feel rather stuck about insurance now.  Now that we're married, I'm not covered under my mom anymore, but I have no clue what's going on for my job this fall.  I could get on H's insurance but it'll cost an arm and a leg.  I could get on my own where I have my summer job, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to drop off if I get a good teaching job this fall.  My third option is to just wait, but I'd be reallllly scared to do that.  H and I are TTA, but I'd hate to accidentally get pregnant and not be covered because it's considered a pre-existing condition.

Also I'm incredibly jealous of everyone going on vacation, whether it be closeby or far away. After taking no time off in over 2 yearsbesides the occasional day or long weekend I am itching for some time away. Only 2 months and 20 days until the HM... But who's counting? ;

This guy spends most of his day eating, he snacks all.day.long no joke. He also goes out of his way to almost walk into people so he can make a big song and dance out of going "OOOHH excuse me! Pardon me, I didn't see you there". I'm sure he just listens for people so he can do that.

Duds, I LOVE the vaca pics. Jealous. Chels, why wouldn't you be able to drop it? Its my understanding that once you are no longer employed somewhere that you no longer get insurance. I could be wrong since I don't really know your situation.

As far as insurance, getting a new job qualifies as a life event, so you'd be able to drop the other insurance at whatever point you started a new position and would be eligible for benefits. Also, pregnancy isn't allowed to be considered a pre-existing condition, you'd still be covered

Chels, do you use contraceptives? I know many Catholics don't, but you should seriously look into it. Condoms or one of the cheapy $4 BCs from Wal-Mart or Target. You don't want to bring a baby into the world if you aren't ready.

My office IS weird. Lots of bizarre things go on here and I know some people thing I exagerate or make them up but I really don't. Like last year how we had a big event where all our clients were there and the fatbitch I hate decided just to wear slippers, was rushing and fell over and smoked a bank of chairs, and flashed the crowd.
