I don't feel this is an unpopular opinion. I feel like my opinion on this is unpopular though.
I don't measure my worth at all from my work so when I become a SAHW I'm not going to feel guilty at all. Most people (especially in this country) feel guilty if they take a vacation that's too long even if they're great employees. I feel like work just gets in the way of my life and I can't stand it.
I also hear a lot of people say "What would you do all day?" The question is what <strong>wouldn't </strong>I do? I would do everything I want to do. I would be in more dance classes, spending time with my dog, painting, decorating, cleaning my house which is a task with the hours I work, cooking, gardening, and yes even watching tv. I just don't know how people could be bored having freedom and I'm not going to feel bad when I'm not working.

Oh I've got one. I hate it when people make ridiculously small-minded blanket statements. Like, I hate all fruit. Or I hate all strapless dresses. Or I hate all things sci-fi. I mean really, have you tried all fruit? Have you seen all strapless dresses? That's like saying "I hate all books." or "I hate all music." For some reason, I only like myself in strapless dresses. Then again, it's probably because it's been years since I wore a non-strapless dress. I think when it comes to wedding gowns, you shouldn't be afraid to try all different styles. (I won't try big ball gowns though because I'm short and would get lost in it).

Alix, few things have made me want to break my TV more than when Hayden popped up at the end of Return of the Jedi.  Give me an f'ing break, George Lucas.

The 3 new Star Wars movies were unbelievably bad.  Hayden C is one of the worst actors ever.  Those romantic scenes with Natalie Portman made me want to kill myself.

I don't think they're ugly by any means, I just don't like them. I made the decision not to try any on and I actually found my dress on the first day, 4th dress. I can see wanting to try them because you never know what would look good on you; my own dress was picked out by my SIL and I wasn't too keen on it on the rack. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the perfect dress.

i used to like winter the least, but i've decided i firmly like summer the least. i can't handle the heat. and now that i have a fireplace, i enjoy the winter. in fact i was sad when it started getting warmer because i didn't want to say goodbye to fireplace usage. but i've long said that i wish it would just go back between fall and spring. with maybe a week of winter and summer apiece per year.

L-Bride, I completely understand and respect your opinion. I just know a lot of SAHWs that cook and clean, and then sit around and watch TV all day while their husbands struggle to pay the bills. In that instance, I feel like they should get off their a$s and help financially. But if you're in a position where you don't have to work, then more power to you.
