I too am pretty cynical about celebrity relationships. I also really don't follow who's dating who and such all that much.

I think the fan reaction to this crap is ridiculous.  ZOMG, BELLA AND EDWARD BROKE UP.  No, Rob and Kristen broke up.  Bella and Edward aren't real.

It probably started of for real, because it wasn't good for either of their images, but I think there is a contract now.  Even if it doesn't spell out how long they stay together or whatever, but saying that they can't tattle to the press, that they have to make X number of public appearances, etc.

I actually do like keeping up with celebs and stuff.  I'm sure some of the crap they do is for publicity but I think it's pretty crappy to assume all of them are fake and everything they do is fake, even having kids and whatnot.  Lol, they are actually human beings, contrary to what many believe.

I don't think that they are all fake and everything they do is fake.  I think that what we <em>see</em> is fake.  I think they probably have these totally normal lives outside of the photo ops that we see, but I think that those photo ops are very carefully managed.

This is going to sound crazy, but after following the Kardashians on Twitter I feel like they are more normal than I thought. It seems like the celebrities I follow on Twitter are WAY less 'managed' than in anything else. The only reason I have a Twitter is so that I know can follow celebrities.
