Grats on the house Mica; I've been watching so much HGTV lately that I'm going house crazy. Makes me sad that we're still years away. 

I have been doing absolutely nothing lately. Working, studying, thinking about shopping for school supplies because I'm weird. The usual.

Hey everyone! I'm bored, tired, and waiting for H to get home. After helping my daughter with homework, all I did was clean. I'm super exciting, I know!

I'd love for everyone to move to FL.  And buy near me to drive up real estate prices.    Kidding.  I'd entertain you in my tiny backyard with the world's smallest pool.  I do have wine.  It makes the pool forgivable.

I now reserve the right to watch the DIY and HGTV channels and dream of remodeling things.  The inside is unforgivably 1990s, but the ceilings are high, the floors are all wood or tile, and the rooms are all good sizes.  There's room for a lot of repainting.

Poor FI gets confused. I will ask him to help me make healthy choices. He will eat some of the junk food and then later I want to know why he didn't save me some of whatever it was.

I have to confess something.  I spend one afternoon per week with a medical student.  He just got engaged.  He asked for wedding advice today, and I directed him to TK.  I felt like a total nerd.

Remind me to be nice to all young brides coming to E from the west coast of FL.

Any- We love the house hunters drinking game! We drink if they complain about double sinks or bumpinginto each other in the kitchen. And if you guess the house thy pick, everyone else drinks. I feel so old, yet so hip playing these games. I am waiting for bananas to finish freezing so I can make that banana ice cream.

H is horrible about portions.  I can't have junk food in the house if I don't accept that he'll eat until he's full.  Now I buy individually-wrapped crap for his sake or just don't bother buying it at all to prevent him from eating it.

Nicki -- I made banana-chocolate-peanut butter ice cream last week.  It was good!  H refused to eat it because he didn't like the (mild) banana taste.    So I ate it all over the course of the week.  I have more frozen bananas ready to go when I next have an ice cream craving.

My H doesn't understand portion control. I'm amazed he can eat so much. 

Has anyone ever read the book I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell? My sister bought it and I was reading some of it. Omg this guy is a huge douche.

I am the worst with junk food. My parents were always really really strict on finishing the food on our plate. I take it to the extreme and have a really hard time not eating a whole bag of chips. It's a work in progress.

Mica how long did you freeze your bananas for? Some people online said 2 hours wasn't enough. I'm going to use our vitamix, and I don't want to wait until morning to eat this!
