Saturday Night

Re: Saturday Night

  • Yeah, if i was having a heart attack, I'd be freaking the eff out.  I'm a terrible hypochondriac.  H said "maybe you ate some gluten, it seems to cause all the rest of your weird things."  Ha.

Beetlejuiced the boardwar?  A boardwar might spice things up ;)

[QUOTE]Oh Aryn, me too! Ha. We can fix that by calling posters out after threads have been dead for 6 hours though!

<div>Good idea! No need for people to think we're actually nice all the time. </div>
  • Well now you've done it J.

  • I read a FFF from maybe about 6 months after I started posting, and I was seriously cringing at myself.  Man, some people think I'm a bitch now, you guys should read my old FFF shiit.  Yikes.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re:Saturday Night: I diagnose myself via google on a regular basis. I've had like 20 terminal diseases to date. I haven't been flamed yet, but I haven't really been around enough. I'll probably get all butthurt when it does happen and then get over it.

One day, I had this weird cough that was not like my normal cough.  So I googled it.  Turns out I had Legionnaire's disease.  Don't worry though, it totally went away on its own.

  • People can flame however they want obviously.  But personally I would rather see an original flame on a thread 6 hours later if nobody else has flamed it, compared to seeing a lame flame show up again on FFF after 20 people already called it out in the original thread.  Or if it's something like a dictating bride, I'd rather not see it at all because that's just not even worthy of flames anymore.  Again, all my opinions though.

  • I use to get left boob pains. No heart attack. They lasted for an hour or so. After being diagnosed with IBS, and eating better, I haven't had one in forever. Maybe that could be related if you are gluten free? I don't know, it seems all the digestive problems are related to everything.

  • Holy eff if my H doesn't wake up soon I'm saying forget it and going to bed.  Either that or I'm going to make another drink.

  • Beachy, what do you consider flame worthy?

Making another drink is always the right call.

Lord only knows.  Since I cut out gluten, my restless legs have stopped, my night calf cramps have stopped, my itchy scalp has gone away, I don't get razor burn, my nails are stronger, I haven't gotten a canker sore...and all that is in addition to the digestive stuff.  So weird how digestive issues are connected to so many other weird things.

<div>I had a horrible pain between my left temple and ear for months.  Self diagnosis was a brain tumor.  I started telling my mom on a regular basis that I was dying and she should make sure she told me daily she loved me.  </div><div>
</div><div>Then the common sense kicked in and I tied the headaches in to when I started taking Yaz.  Stopped taking Yaz and apparently the brain tumor just shriveled up and went away.</div>

Man, I wish we had booze other than pumpkin liqueur. Even that is starting to sound tasty right now.

</div><div>Basically something with a reg, or at least someone who posts on a regular enough basis to see the flame or that most posters would care about.  Personally a don't give flyingfuck about the 147th newb this month who said something stupid, or the other newbs who defended her.  And I definitely don't give two shiits about stuff on CC or WP or other boards.   Flame that shiit on that board.</div><div>  </div><div>But then again that comes from being here too long and seeing that shiit so many times that it's just boring and old now.  So definitely not FFF worthy IMO.

  • JK have you thought about cutting out dairy? That helped me tons. I was vegetarian by choice, eggs are gross, and dairy fricks me up so hard. But it took me YEARS to figure out that milk products were the problem. An no, lactaid pills are not a solution. They are stupid. Don't put a foriegn pill in your body to force your body to digest something your body doesn't want.

  • I liked Yaz in that it made my skin clear, my boobs slightly bigger, and made me lose 5 lbs. But it killed my sex drive so I went off that shiit as soon as that happened. I can't do the pill at all anymore.

  • I like posts on FFF about something that happened on CC or SB or whatever if it's someone who posts on E enough that I know who they are. I would probably never see the crazypants stuff unless someone brought it up in FFF, because I almost never venture to other boards. Like the CMGr thread about her day off? That was insane. I'm so glad it got brought to my attention. But this is just my opinion too, and I can definitely see where you're coming from.

  • I have thought about cutting out dairy.  I do ok with it, but my body definitely doesn't love it.  I've got no problem giving up milk or ice cream, cheese doesn't bother me too much....but damn it, I love my yogurt.

  • Yaz made me psychotic. No joke, my emotions were all over the place and anger topped the list.

Beachy, I would love to see a flame like that.
  • Yaz helped me skin too.  That was about all the good it did me.  Fucking devil pill.  I know it's really awesome for some people though.

  • I don't like BCP. I like the idea of women taking control of their bodies, but not pills that can obviously kill you. Like Yaz or Premarin. Premarin is a menopause drug, and I know that's different that BCP, but it gave my grandma breast cancer. But I take a pill now, becUse my cramsp made me lose a day of work every 28 days. Ugh. I just wish more women were in tuned with charting and stuff. Hippy dippy drunken rambling.

  • angelstar, I noticed my libido dropped off after I started a new kind of pill last year, but it wasn't Yaz. I've since started a new one in hopes that it will fix it... forgive me for asking a personal question, but are you completely off the pill now because you couldn't find one that didn't do that to your libido, or for another reason? I know that's a super personal question, so you def don't have to answer if you don't want to, just curious since I'm going through something similar.

I'll agree with you that if it's someone who posts more regularly on E and the flame is from another board about them, fine.  But the ones that are "I flame that random poster on WP who thought her BM's were her slaves" are just dumb to me.
