[QUOTE]After reading the posts about the birthing and the trama of having a child,  I think some of the girls ( that havent given birth) on here need to hear the stories that people dont normally tell. Like the blood clots, the massive blood loss, if you get an episiotomy, what happens after, the scene of active labor. Believe me, everyones recovery is different but the actual birthing part is almost always the same vaginally...massive blood loss and a mini murder scene. If you want to hear about it you can PM me. When i tell my friends this part they are normally shocked.

I've given birth twice, and can tell you about my vagina if you're really interested (spoiler-it looks like a vagina). I can also tell you that I began cardio two weeks post delivery, part of which included long walks with my baby outdoors. My babies are alive and well, my vagina didn't fall off, and scottswife is still ridiculous.
  • I ate at Chipotles once, about a year ago, and got some kind of very painful gall bladder inflamation from it. I have stayed away ever since. :(

Holy cow this. Sorry I'm late on this and it's probably all been said, but this is ignorance and it's irritating. You know how many stupid comments I got for taking my little ones out and about? And ironically it was usually from the same people reaching in (I babywear....babywore...) to touch my babe. SW, babies generally have 2-3 check ups before 6 weeks. The shots they receive do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until the entire set is finished, meaning anywhere from 2-4 years. So in your opinion, people shouldn't take their children out until they are 4 years old? Not to mention if a mother is breastfeeding, that same less than 6 week old infant is so juiced up with antibodies from their mom, that they could probably bath in a tub full of germs and come out completely unscathed. As for the "traumatic experience", uh no. My labor was f'in amazing.  I was up walking immediately afterwords, as are most mothers who vaginally deliver (I don't know about c-sections, I imagine they'd need a little more down time). You are being ignorant and making judgements on something you could very easily google and research. Poop on you SW. Poop on you.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: I Judge : We live on the 4th floor, and Cooper loves laying out on our balcony. He is usually there when I get home from the gym at night, and if he's not there he comes running out when he hears the beep from locking my car. Every day from down below, I say, "<strong>HI COOPY!!!!!</strong>" in my dog mom voice. I don't care who hears me. Except most people in my complex must be hermits because they never have their screen doors open, so maybe nobody ever witnesses the glory of it. :)

  • I am frightened by terrible grammar and spelling.  If you aren't sure, Google or spell check.  I am an admin of a Twitter account for the shelter and another person is the admin of their FB page.  Every update she posts is misspelled or she will refer to the animal as both a 'he' and 'she' in the same adoption listing.  Really?  Is it that hard to put together a cohesive sentence?  It makes the organization look so bad.  I don't even encourage the Twitter followers to 'like' the page on FB because I'm embarrassed.
