[QUOTE]We have a Chipotle but I hardly ever go there. I hate paying $7 for a damn burrito that I can get at the Mexican place down the street for $2, and it tastes a whole hell of a lot better.

This is why I miss California--I would never have gone to Qdoba, Baja Fresh, etc there. No good burritos here at all

[QUOTE]To be honest most of my nutrition clients got overweight by eating Chipotle and not sharing their serving (what they serve is meant for nearly 3 people calorie wise!!) I love Moes..their guac is to die for, so fresh, and a kids meal is perfect size. Sometimes I will break down and have the homewrecker but thats over 1,000 calories in itself. They do Moes Mondays too :-) I've eaten at Chipotle once and probably never will again. Another random fact: Appetizers at places like Chilis, Applebees and the like...the platter ones are meant for 4 people (I had an ex who would eat a whole one and wonder why he never lost weight)

I was just reading some comments about how some girls dont think birthing is that tramatic so I just wanted to fill those of you in who wanted to know. I wasnt trying to press my views on you all or tell you that you will go through the same thing, or saying anything about how "your" recovery will be. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Traumatic for my vagina? Sure. But as others have already pointed out, it's different for everyone. Yes some have horror stories where they can't move for weeks, others are up and walking hours later. And yeah, you were basically saying EXACTLY how our recovery will be.

[QUOTE]After reading the posts about the birthing and the trama of having a child, I think some of the girls ( that havent given birth) on here need to hear the stories that people dont normally tell. Like the blood clots, the massive blood loss, if you get an episiotomy, what happens after, the scene of active labor. Believe me, everyones recovery is different but the actual birthing part is almost always the same vaginally...massive blood loss and a mini murder scene. If you want to hear about it you can PM me. When i tell my friends this part they are normally shocked.

Birthing doesn't have to be traumatic. Just because it was for YOU, doesn't mean it is for everyone.
  • And seriously ShakeupTampa, who made you the effing E calorie police? I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a nutrionist or a genius to figure out that appetizer platters aren't healthy. Not to meniton the fact that it says right on the menu usually that it serves 2-4 people. So yeah, your ex was just an idiot.

Ditto. This actually endangers your child as well as other children. I *do* judge things that endanger children. For example, I would judge someone who doesn't make their child use a seatbelt in the car.

My BF's husband has almost zero immune system, and he needs to get IVs weekly to supplement it. My BF is constantly scared these days, now that her kids are in school, that they're going to be around children who aren't vaccinated, since he can die if he's exposed to those viruses. Scary stuff.

ShakeUpTampa, I eat at Chipotle on a weekly basis and I count calories religiously and never seem to go over because of my love of burrito bols. I'm not fat either.
  • No need to get your panties in a bunch..I was stating my opinion of chipotle and what I learned that I did not know years prior..it's not life or death LOL...I battled food issues and found the only way to overcome that was to tackle my own battles :-) Chill out, it's not that serious :-)
