Stealing from SB- Ask a Knottie Anything

Re: Stealing from SB- Ask a Knottie Anything

• H "hates" mayo and I make his grilled cheese all the time with mayo and I never tell him.   A few nights ago I didn't have mayo so I used butter and he mentioned the sandwiches were not as good, he thought it was the bread...

EW remember green ketchup?
In Response to Re: Stealing from SB- Ask a Knottie Anything : I would not be able to be friends with this person. I put ketchup on everything. H makes faces at that too (especially when I "ruin" mac and cheese with it).
Posted by cengle
I do this too! I just had some the other day and H told me I was a gross mac & cheese eater. He can't stand ketchup on that particular food. My brother used to eat ketchup by the spoonful. Literally, a spoonful at a time.

My grandma's name is Evelyn, so that's what I think of when I hear the name. I also think of Evie from The Mummy, and I love her character (minus the imposter in the third).
• To whichever knotties write (I fail, I can't remember), which genre(s) do you write in?
image
• Manda: I think Evelyn is lovely, classic and grows well on a little girl into adulthood. :)
On that note, what do you think of the name Maeve? It's one of my favorites but I know H is going to frown upon it.

Anna: I don't read my Kindle in the bathtub. I'm too afraid of dropping it in the water!

Missy: I'm a roller coaster girl, 100%. I love going upside-down and the newer steel track coasters are awesome because of how tight they can turn in a corkscrew. :)

Ahhhitsshannyn: I love boiled eggs on my salads. Love.

Money: My favorite alcoholic beverage right now is a sidecar. So good! Or a nice moscato after dinner. But my go-to drink is a good cider.

Tiki: What made you decide that you only want one child?
(I want lots of kids so I like hearing the other side of it!)

My mom sent me to the store in high school to pick up some things.  I picked up green ketchup because I thought it was funny.  She used it to make a green meatloaf.  It was gross.
• Oh my FI doesn't eat mayo or ground meat of any sort. No meatballs, burgers, sloppy joes.. the list goes on and on and on :(
image
• Nooo I didn't sell it!  H asked me to keep it.  He is not really a keepsakes type of person so I thought it was cute and for now the dress is just sitting in my closet.
I knew a guy who wouldn't eat any orange food (the color, which I guess means the fruit too).  That was weird.  I want a daughter too.  I had a sister growing up, and I'm just not used to being around a bunch of boys.  H has three brothers, and he'd love it if we only had boys because he thinks he'd punch any guy who tried to date a daughter of ours.

• I hate Miracle Whip.  It's Best Foods or my homemade stuff.

hlq -- we're a non-Heinz household too because of H.  He admits that Heinz makes the best ketchup, though.  A friend of mine used to buy W Ketchup (it came out during the 2004 election).

Usually contemporary or historical fiction.  At least, I try.  I haven't finished anything since college <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />

Also, mmm, bellinis.

• Manda and Anna! I am so jealous! I guess I am just totally naive and think everyone who lives in DC must know the Prez. :)

I guess some people think the same about southern CA, I must live in LA and see stars all the time, but I never go to LA and I do not think I have seen anyone famous.

Um eww... mayo grilled cheese.
I ♥ ketchup too.  I'm a fan of all condiments.

I do too.

My daughter's godfather hates them and will send a whole plate of food back, at a restaurant, if there is a cup of anything on the plate. Weirdo.
TR- I guess this is pretty regular, corn on the cob, mayo, parmesan cheese, and then butter. Super sick to me but it happens a lot in LA and sometimes in my town as well. I think they are called "Alotes" or something like that. My husband LOVES them, he even sometimes makes them at home for dinner.
Posted by ahhhitsshannyn
I really want to try this. I've heard about it/seen it. And the mayo part seems weird, but I'm told it's good.

• baystate - I'm the same way.  I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to write.  I've probably written enough for a dozen novels, but only two that I actually managed to complete.

• Even though I hate mayo, my vote is go home for the grilled cheese.  More satisfying than a Lean Cuisine.

• I'd go for grilled cheese. Frozen dinners are another of my weird food hang-ups.
• Hmm...I only use mayo and salt.  No butter or :::shudder::: parm cheese.  My mom's grandfather started it in her family because he couldn't have butter or something?  It became a thing.

Cfas, I'm a spoilers person too.  Drives FI crazy.

What did you think of the prequel trilogy movies?

ETA: Also, FI won't eat eggs without ketchup.  Seriously.  We could not have eggs (nice, quick, easy dinner) one night, because we were out of ketchup.
