I'm briefly here. Sister and her boyfriend are tuckered out after a day at the zoo so I'm letting them rest. We had a super yummy lunch but now I really want some ice cream. I may break down and run to the store while they nap.
H took me to pick up my birthday presents today, the last two seasons of One Tree Hill and the first two volumes of Talespin...because I'm a child like that.
I'm just relaxing today. I did some dishes and need to vacuum my dirty house. Later today I've been asked to measure our backyard for a fence, so I guess that's my project. I'm not really sure how to do it, or where our measuring tape is hiding. That sounds silly because I know how to measure stuff, but the entire yard seems intimidating.

H is working on setting up my new laptop. My Dell is about 5 years old and while its running a little slow, it's still holding up fairly well. It was just time to get something lighter to carry to school and a little more reliable (I've gotten the blue screen twice recently on this thing). Anyway, my parents are ECSTATIC because we are going to do a little work on the Dell, wipe it and upgrade the system and give it to them for free. They are self-employed and don't have the funds to buy a new computer but desperately need one. My parents have helped me (and us) out so much that I'm so happy I can finally do something nice back for them.
I'm cleaning for now but we'll probably head out later to buy running shoes with a gift card we got. H's birthday is on Tuesday so I picked up a b-day cake for him today from the lady who made our wedding cakes. SO tasty!

I just got home from getting an oil change. I need to go out again to return something at Ulta. I bought an eyeshadow, and my spaz self bought the freakin tester. EW.

Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't notice either. It's a NYX roller one, and the tester sticker is on the top of the cap. That's probably why I didn't notice it.

Then maybe he should measure It himself ; lol.
Sara, that's how they make you come back and spend more money.

<div>haha. I spend a ton of money there already! They're always super nice, so hopefully they'll just give me a new one. I'm SO glad I only used it on my hand and not my eyes.</div>
Yeah, that is good Sara.
It's starting to get warm now. I might start the trick again to get some a/c. That and it's kind of fun to sit in the driver seat heh.
We just got back from the cookout. It rained off and on. So we kept going back and forth between outside and inside. H wanted to come home and take a nap, and of course he decided to leave when it was torrential rain.
My new glasses are in and I want to go get them, but I am a little afraid to drive in this rain after losing my last car in a flood less than a year ago.
We may go back to the cookout later, but I was glad to leave for a while.
Right now we are sitting at a truck stop in Lincoln Illinois. This is a 2 part delivery which is actually pretty unusual. Part one goes to Loda Illinois and part two goes to Grand Rapids Michigan.
I'm riding in the car on the way home from Fargo. Shopping trip was successful and my kids won't have to go to school naked. Yay!
Looks like it is going to get stormy as it's all dark no matter which way you look. Cozy night for sleeping, hopefully.
Cool on the laptop Angel.
Erin, the fence sounds like a huge project.
Dilleni, exciting you get to pick up your dress!
