What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
You've been much more productive than I have today! Good luck on the job prospects.
I got called into work early today (at noon). So, no workout for me. Unfortunately, no workout YESTERDAY either, because my mom decided to be a complete monster and blame me for everything in the world (and then decide to say some kind of crappy things about the wedding). I felt chewed up and spit out. My eyes are still swollen.
BUT. New king bed is coming tonight! And because I came into work early, I can leave early (10 instead of 11:30). And I can make up the miles I missed yesterday (16) and the ones I missed today (9) by spreading them out over the next week. It'll be ok.
We're about to go out and watch the game. It's particularly fun being an LSU fan in Atlanta after we whipped UGA's ass in the Georgia Dome this year. It's a sad day, though, because it's the end of college football til August
I just got home from work and then getting my BCP perscription! A long weekend on the phone, and I FINALLY GOT IT. They want me to go in to speak to a doctor about getting an exam-which I refuse. I know there are solid reasons for it, but I have even better (more solid? is that possble?) reasons to refuse one. So I am researching it now, as the feminist literature I have on it is all from the mid 1990's and I want more recent research.
My middle schoolers can perform William Shakespear-without it being "mainstreamed" or "translated" and my first through third graders were rocking their scripts today. My job is amazing.
C- I have been dying to go to the casino, way to rub it in. But have fun!

YAY!!!
On another note, I just learned from Midge that Barry Larkin was inducted into the baseball hall of fame!! YAY!!! We Cincinnatians love our Barry Larkin!
I really don't agree with the hormones and for-profit aspect of BCP. However, due to the craziness that has become my monthly cycle, I had to break down and get back on it. (Also I was on it the two months before our wedding as I would have gotten it that day. No thanks!)
****POSSIBLE TMI ****
I don't agree with pelvic exams because I feel they are extremely invasive and cause more emotional distress and physical discomfort in women than positive. I have heard that pap smear results are read by humans, who are paid per test. So the more they read and the faster they read, the more money they make. So false positives occur frequently from such a practice-more emotional harm.
I also had a very negative experience with a gyno, where she took a sample of a sore spot on my inner leg, and told me "I am 99% sure this is herpes" when I was no where near sexually active at 15. She took the biopsy (painful) and gave me literature on herpes. I was devistated. I never got results back, so I then lived with the thought that I had herpes. I went back a year later, and behold-it was negative (a very painful ingrown hair), and I never got a follow up phone call. NO THANK YOU.
Living with the thought that you have herpes at 15 royally sucks, especially when you do not. I am, though, quite up to date on herpes facts.

I feel like most streams are really low q. I've never streamed games so I'm no help. I've only ever illegally watched TV/movies, never live stuff. I also have a mac, so viruses aren't quite as bad.
Nicki I understand that can be very traumatic at 15. I just don't find pelvic exams to be pinaful nor invasive. I'd rather know if i've got potentially cancerous cells than die not even having a chance to fight anything pre-cancerous.
We streamed the Clemson / Ga Tech game off of espn3 (which you can get to through espn.com). Then I plugged in my laptop to the TV and it worked out perfectly. I was really happy with the quality.
I don't know if the national championship game is also on ESPN3, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
ETA: the national championship is on ESPN3. To see if your ISP provides it (Comcast does), go to www.espn.com. Click on college football, then click on scores. The option to watch it live should be on the page somewhere.
