Wow... I suddenly feel better. I just keep seeing rapture this, rapture that. I'm glad I'm not the only one a little lost by it all (I fully admit I had to look it up this morning to know what it was).

FI and I officially put the bid in this afternoon on the house we fell in love with yesterday... effing bank gave him the run around all morning, so the bid got submitted 10 hours later than we'd hoped. But it's there... so that's the important part!

I find the concept of transubstantiation hilarious, but somehow I don't think mocking it would go over well here. I'm actually kind of irked with all of the theists who are making fun of the Rapture without realizing that their own beliefs are just as fantastic.

Celles- I don't think it's ridiculous to believe in a higher power (disclaimer: I really am Catholic, not just joking). I do think that the idea of a bunch of people being pulled into the air naked at 6pm on 5/21 is ridiculous.

According to the flyer that was on my door Sunday, the rapture is may 21st and the actual end of the earth is october 21.

so, you get saved on may 21st if you're a chosen on. Me and all the heathens will be just hangin until October I guess. I'm glad I will get to go on my Machu Picchu trip.
