1. You shouldn't feel like a whore when you initiate sex. It should be empowering and I promise it'll make it that much hotter.
2. Totally understand the TTC one. I'm here if someone wants to talk!

ETA: I just realized this is probably the only thread I've ever started on TK in the last 3 years.

H and I had that conversation once (mostly teasing) and I asked him how he would feel if I proposed to him. He said seriously that he would be sad because he wanted the proposal to be "his" thing, his big surprise, and he would feel like he missed out on planning and initiating it. So, not for us. But I wouldn't judge people who do it if the guys are okay with it.

i just dont get the pee one in general. crayons aside.
for one, once you started going, how could you not notice it was splashing on you if that could even happen?
and even if you had black pants on, they'd still look wet.
i think its MUD.
[QUOTE]I have to roll my eyes at the bach party one. I hate the excuse: I trust my SO/FI/H but I don't trust his friend. Really? I can't.

<div>Yes! This drives me crazy and it comes up at least once a month on the prewedding parties board. No one can force him to have sex with someone else, so what's the problem? I don't get it. </div>
My friends have done plenty of dumb things, so have I but never, ever have their choices caused me to do something that would damage my relationship. I am not a lemming and neither is my husband. If his friend went home with a hooker, H wouldn't follow just because his friend is doing it. It just goes back to basic kindergarten knowledge: if your friend jumped off a bridge, would you? My answer then and now is a resounding: hell naw.
And if you are dating someone who is THAT influenced by his friends, you both ain't ready for marriage, sweetie.
So unless you really believe that his friends are going to slip roofies into his drinks the night of his bachelor party...you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

That's exactly it. You can tell me until you're blue in the face that you trust your FI, it's his friends you don't trust, it doesn't matter. It all boils down to you don't trust your FI to have a brain and say no when his friends pressure him to do something dumb.
I think the proposal one is BS. Maybe you are all for "equality," but only as long as everyone stays inside the exact gender roles society has created.
And Pink, I don't buy the friend excuse either. It's lame.

It took 11 cycles for me to get pregnant w/ Baby Bee. I did have a pregnancy a a few months before but had an early m/c. I have been charting for 4 years and have studied NFP. I will be happy to be a sounding board and/or offer some advice if you need it. =-)

This may seem like a dumb question, but do most people now a days chart when they're trying to get pregnant? (note the trying part, not accidentally getting pregnant)
I'm just curious because I see it talked about a lot over here and was wondering if it's just a normal part of making babies these days.
Unless you were on my month board. Because seriously, within a month of our weddings I think at least three of those lucky girls were pregnant. Something in the Nov. '10 water?
