Interesting - I sang competitively through high school and then quit for lack of time. Now people are always shocked when I sing.
I was a terrible person at 18. There was a time at work when the funny, weird manager was in a room with me and four male coworkers. He jokingly said, "raise your hand if you haven't made out with [me]." No one raised their hands.
I'm also 100% Scandanavian, even though my family has all been in the States for 4 generations or more.

I had an ex and his band write a song about me too but it was before we started dating (we were friends/acquaintences first). It was called "I Wanna Fuuck [Bob's] Girlfriend," "Bob" being the guy I was dating at the time. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif" border="0" alt="Yell" title="Yell" /> I didn't know about the song until I started dating the guy!
I thought the song kinda sucked. But it was catchy. It sounded a lot like Jeff Buckley. It started out kinda sweet and plain. But the chorus was, "Darlin'... darlin'... you make me want to die." We were still dating at the time and I remember hearing the song and being like, "Oh. Ok. We need to talk."
He didn't use my name. But I think of it every time I hear the Plain White Tees song, "Hey Deliah." Poor Deliah.

I tend to think that I have at least one thing in common with every person I come in contact with.
The Billy Joel song, "Only the Good Die Young" was written about my mom's cousin. It was an exaggeration of their relationship but yes, her name was Virginia and she was Catholic.
I have been interviewed on tv three different times. Weird mostly because the events were all totally unrelated and eyars apart. I just have 'that face' I guess.
