Hey guys. I'm waiting for J to come home and I can't wait. Its really hard to deal with crazy puppies when I don't really want to get out of bed. They are going nuts right now. They are way cuter when they are cuddling with me after they tire out.

Musu, I keep forgetting you have two dogs to deal with now.

I'm still at work and just got done laughing my head off at a picture my friend sent. My H and hers both turn 40 this month and for their party next weekend she took their heads and photoshopped them onto chubby baby bodies wearing tshirts that say Vintage 1972. She got cardboard cutouts made of them for the food tables and bar.

So I've been on the search for a helium tank or a place to get balloons filled for Charlotte's first bday party and apparently there is a helium shortage and its like next to impossible to get balloons filled :-/

Mica, that sucks. I'd say leftovers so you can just sit at home now.

I just got home from work, and I'm eating a snack and waiting for H to get home so we can go swim. It's a gorgeous evening for it. I hope most of the kiddos are gone by now so we don't have to swim around them.

Helium shortage eh? Who knew?

One time that I was shopping in HS, my friends and I stopped in a balloon shop. The owners were two elderly people and the guy gave us like a 10 minute lecture and copies of a newstory about how dangerous inhaling helium was. I think because we were teenagers, the fact that we were each buying one single helium balloon was suspicious to him. We really just wanted a cute balloon to carry around for the day (we were shopping uptown so it was not a mall). Totally ruined the mood.
