My history prof lectures in a normal speaking voice. Someone said today that she couldn't hear him, and he pretty much said, "<strong>Tough. Move to the front of the room."</strong> There are no fucking seats in the front of the room. It's packed. I'd love to sit where I can actually hear, but I'm not going to sit on someone's lap to do it.

Maybe not bon bons but obviously it's not a secret that you dink around on TK all day. Especially since you're here enough to be a mod.

I'm irritated that both of FI's sisters haven't RSVP'd for the wedding yet. We 100% know they are coming and have spoken about it with them several times, yet they can't send back their damn RSVP cards (with meal choices). Seriously, how hard is it to mail back a pre-stamped, pre-addressed card?!? Gah.

Is that the new super cool way to spell chains? People purposely mis-spelling words is an irrational irritation.

  • I go absolutely nuts when people type "prolly" instead of "probably" it's not even that many fewer letters! If you MUST abbreviate, why not "prob" instead?

Also, I can't stand when people say that they "should of" done something instead of "should have" done something. Ugh, it's giving me mild anxiety just thinking about it.

    Posted by crfb87
See, I tend to type the way I speak, too. I used to use ..... a lot, because that's kind of how I talk. Someone (H, maybe?) pointed it out to me, when before that, I didn't realize how much I'd been using them.

I went to school for radio broadcasting, where saying things correctly was a really big deal. I think that's why little things like that bother me.

  • I'm irritated that FI went out to buy toilet paper and came home with a huge carton of ice cream too.  I'm on a diet, which he knows, he called and asked if  wanted him to get ice cream too. I told him "no, I don't want the temptation in the house", but he bought it anyway, so I told him that was fine, but I didn't want any.  He served me a bowl.  It's sweet that he thinks I'm fine how I am, and I'm pretty good at resisting temptation, but he's hindering, not helping.
  • actually I have the day off today. And FYI my other SN is no longer active so technically I'm not an AE
  • I'm wondering why in the past week a bunch of AEs have been created specifically to harass posters.  It's getting pretty tedious.

  • Well it's a good thing I don't have work to get back to Daisy. And what exactly are you doing? Shouldn't you be working instead of chastising everyone else around here. Obviously you hang around long enough to know who's here regularly and who's not.

  • Oddly enough, I was given permission to browse the Internet at work in order to reduce my production time. So...I am working.
