I love Chicago... HATE driving in it (but can't avoid it since I commute to school there), but love the city itself... first date with FI was the pride parade downtown hehe.

Though I have to admit, I'd be okay moving away into the country somewhere... someday I'll have my horse property (not that FI realizes that yet)...

GG next time I'm in Charleston we'll GTG. I lived there for about 6 years for college and a little while after. It's honestly my favorite place on earth. (Ok, Sevilla, Spain is truly my favorite place on earth, but I can't ge there all the time).

There are a lot of Knotties in the FL area too. OH I JUST REMEMBERED! My uncle has a house in FL. I have to remember where because he told me I could totally stay there some time.

Mk-I haven't been to Charleston in so long. I have a friend that lives there now so I might go visit her one weekend to see it again. I love Charleston though. Although, I love Savannah too. I kind of just really love this area.

Born and bred NE-Flatlander... I've lived in the Chicago suburbs my entire life, save for a year (right before my parents divorced) when we lived in a tiny town in Wisconsin right over the border. I'm at NEIU working on my bachelors right now... FI doesn't seem to have any problems with horses, they just aren't his thing. I grew up riding, but gave it up to pursue my other love (showing dogs)... I miss riding like crazy and hope someday we can afford a place with a horse or two.

Kelly-- My mom's famly friend lives in Batavia, do you know where that is? I don't remember much about it because its been awhile since I've been there (usually we stay in the city).

I will hopefully be in Orland for Christmas and New Years. Don't know who's out that way.

I'll be in Gatlinburg in two weeks. I don't think anyone's over there though.

I want to drink a beer with Mandy. Mandy and Fezz. They seem like cool people to drink beer with.

I'm sad I missed both the christmas and last weeks DC GTG. I've got to get moved up there soon. There's just too many people to see there.

I want to meet Beachy too. I would travel to Seattle to do it too. I've never been and would love to see it.

ETA: GGIRL not teachermegs lol wtf-- I texted my cousin to see where my uncle's house is! I don't know much about the geography of FL other than Orlando is in the middle somewhere kinda and Miami/the Keys are way south, heh.

Barbie-- It is really annoying that they don't accomodate more cities on here. I mean, Fishy's in Fargo but it just says ND. And Fargo is way diff than, say, Bismarck in the middle of the state.

Bree-- We are about a 6.5-7hr drive. It is pretty painless actually.

Oh and I also have GTG dreams of getting together with the KY girls. I've got to visit friends in Cincinnati sometime and hopefully can swing it then.

Batavia (IL) is about an hour and a half SW of where I live... not a bad drive at all. I think one of our dog show clients lives there, actually...

P.S. house hunting officially sucks. Does anyone have experience with FHA loans?

MK-I was just in the Cleveland area recently. Lakewood to be exact. I wish I could go. I'm flying home to Buffalo that day for my shower. If I lived in Buffalo I would go since its only a 3 hr drive.

My location just says Virginia. Virginia's a huge place. But I feel like it changes because I've seen it say DC Area and I've also seen it say Northern Virginia. TK is confused I think.
