An xBF had terrible taste in alcohol. I learned to play beer pong using his crappy Keystone, which I promptly spit out. From then on, I was solely an observer--one who drank whisky.

I liked XP... I also was the only person in the world who didn't mind Vista. I don't really like Windows 7, from the little bit of exploring I've done on my sister's computer. It could just be her settings that I don't like though.
Guys, I'm getting super close to getting rid of my "newb" status, and it doesn't look like medals will be back in time. *Pouts*
Oh well, I'll just have to start a thread to AW my new bronze status. Kidding... I can only imagine the responses I'd get for that, haha. I do want my bronze medal though, they best bring them back soon.
Receiving a bunch of growlers might be cool. But way too expensive, unfortunately. They are great to get filled right on the spot at the brewery. Fresh and fabulous. I miss old windows. Like mandatory paper clip helper pops up when you open word, windows.

I think silver may start at 2001, but I'm not sure.

Never heard of it, although you made me think of Eureka's Castle, which was on Nick jr when I was little. I loved that show.

I just finished weeping uncontrollably. I don't want to share business that isn't mine, but she put it in her sig. A reg who hasn't been around lately went into preterm labor. Her son was born alive, but died shortly after. I just read her blog, and I full-on ugly cried. I just want to give her a hug.

That's really sad. I can't even imagine the pain she's feeling right now.

Agreed. Although if she hasn't been around lately, I may not know her anyway.
I don't even know what to say to her. She and I have never really talked, though I've always liked her. I saw her name and thought, "Oh, I want to check her ticker--she has to be getting close."
The death of your child is probably everyone's worst nightmare, regardless of how one feels about kids.
I actually think I know who you're talking about now, I remember someone talking about it a itlte while back. I don't know that there's much you can say, especially if you didn't really interact with her before... I guess just that you're really sorry to hear of her loss and you're there if she needs to talk.
I couldn't imagine losing a child. Miscarriage, teenager, adult, infant, whatever. Must be the absolute worst. I don't handle death of someone reallyclose well, at all. As we learned 2 years ago with my grandma. I can't begin to imagine if I were in this woman's situation.
