I'm all about calling people out on HERE, The Knot, on bad behavior. This particular board is an etiquette board after all, that is our "duty" if you will.

Some people have really crossed the line and should really be ashamed of themselves right now.

Not one of the so called "mean girls" of the long ago Knot would ever have behaved this badly.

I've been around since 2009 and I saw a lot of nastiness then that makes it look like a tea party around here and I don't think any of them would have stooped to this level.

Dude, I saw that thread, commented that it's rude to ask for money, went to a committee meeting, and came back to NINE PAGES of what is actually, legitimately, not-even-kidding, bullying.

It's one thing to call someone out on here, on the boards, where they post a question, but posting all of that on their wedding website? Holy.Effing.Shitballs.

Also, where is KP? She was paged in that thread almost an hour ago, she's been active since it happened, and the thread is still raging.

@HisGirlFriday13 Someone suggested that the bullies were following your example and I was so offended for you. You are the classiest lady, and I sense that the overwhelming majority of us here are 1000% not okay with a lot of what went down on that thread.

Yeah, I am not OK -- and I don't know anyone on the boards who IS OK -- with how that went down. It's one thing to say, 'Look, we don't care if this is regional, it's still rude.' It's another thing to HARASS the OP IRL on her wedding website.

I must admit, I too am from Winnipeg, but I've been lurking for years, and educated myself on how to treat wedding guests, contrary to how things are done all the time around here ("socials", "presentation", etc).

I was slightly offended by some anti-Canadian posts in that thread.

Canada! Seriously, I tell FI all the time that I would love to be Canadian because every single person I've ever met that is Canadian has been SO NICE. Even the girls on Four Weddings - Canada are nice to each other! And they're supposed to be mean on that show. Love all things Canada.

That was my first thought too. Everyone found your BSC bride, but it was a unanimous vote that we'd leave her alone and then this happens today. At this point I think whoever is spamming OP's site makes her look like a saint by comparison.

There are too many well loved Canadian posters around here for anyone to have anti-Canada feelings.
