oh, I LOVED Lost. the first season, anyway. after that, it became an "I hate you but I know I will keep watching till the bitter end" kind of relationship.

also, I still read Christopher Pike books. that's more of a confession though.

MOST UNPOPULAR OPINION EVER (so unpopular I actually feel super bad about having it):

I don't think k-8 teachers make too little, in fact I think they should make less.  I also think they should only be required to have an associates degree and two years of student teaching. 

I think 9-12 teachers exactly enough, but should not get the pensions they do. I think they should not having a teaching degree, but rather a degree in their subject area and a teaching certification. (which would also mean anyone with any degree in a specific concentration could get certified to be a teacher in like a few months)

I am a horrible person, I agree.

around here, people make too big a deal out of firefighters. every time something happens, the fire truck shows up, just so they can say "Hey, city counsel, we went on X amount of calls this year, how bout some more money?"

a guy I know was sitting on a tailgate and fell off and bumped his head pretty hard on the pavement, and the firetruck came. I shiit you not.
