I'd like to flame the random chicks coming on here with their LJ-ish rants about their weddings who get pissed off at us for asking for more information. Seriously? You put it out there, you're going to get judged. Case in point: http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_snarky-brides_eff-snotbags

I know I already brought up earlier in another thread, so this probably seems redundant, but oh well. Maybe I'm just sensitive because I got hate-PMed for that thread.

But there is a difference between gang crimes and a lot of people that grow their own at home for personal use. A lot of people that grow their own have no affiliation with gangs at all and its more of a liefstyle choice to them rather than hustling and making a profit from it.

And for the record, I do in fact know people that smoke recreationally that DO have very high paying jobs and careers but that doesnt mean they are affiliated with a gang. One of these people is a professor at a major univeristy and the other works for a Fortune 500 Company.....but neither of them are potheads.

Just b/c one chooses to smoke recreationally in no way makes them a pothead.

i agree with this. and if you look at it from a medical perspective, alcohol is a lot worse on the body. i kind of laugh when people act like anyone who has smoked pot or smokes pot on occasion is a burn out or something.

that all being said-i don't smoke and i wouldn't want my bf or future children to either because it is illegal etc...i don't think it is terribly bad for you though.

FTR- I didnt say that. My point was that its my belief that the majority of them are and the minority of them are not.

My issue was with Sweded refusing to believe that a large percentage (or any percentage for that matter) of pot heads do not live productive lives.

ETA: And it still doesnt change the fact that they are breaking the law.
