My fiancé is having his three brothers for his groomsmen and I am having my two sisters and his sister for bridesmaids…is it okay for his brother and sister to walk down the aisle together or is that weird?

We had 8 altogether - 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. 3 of the bridesmaids were my university roommates (with one being my MOH), and the fourth was DH's younger sister. 2 of the groomsmen were DH's roommates (all of us knew each other at school too), my brother was another, and his younger brother was his BM.

Alright so my finace has 4 brothers and 1 sister! 3 of the brothers are groomsmen and I asked his sister to be one of my bridesmaids. His other brother is marrying us! I didn't even HAVE a MOH, so I don't really understand this concern. I had 2 bridesmaids and a bridesman (my brother).

7 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen Out of the girls, my familys is my MOH (sister) and 2 junior bridesmaids (neices) and 1 bridesmaid (cousin) the other 3 bridesmaids are best friends Out of the boys Family Bestman (FI's dad) and Groomsmen (my brother) the other 3 are best friends who just happen to be dating the 3 bridesmaids

Ditto mbrischoux. Don't ask any of his sisters. There are other ways to include them without making them bridesmaids. My brother is getting married next month and he included niether me or my other brother in the wedding. I'm doing a reading and the other brother is an usher. No drama.

If you and your FSIL are not that close, there is no need for you to ask her. And if your FI does not feel that close to your brothers, he need not ask them. No etiquette rule will be violated if she is not your bridesmaid and your brothers are not groomsmen.

I am wondering if it would be expected that I ask my fiancé's brother's wife to be one of my bridesmaids. I was told that it would be like a smack in the face if I didn't ask her. Please let me know!
