    That bolded stuff? That is a great reason why YOU chose to do things a certain way.

    I really don't understand why you think that your discomfort is going to be universal for all women and therefore your experience should be law. I'm guessing most women who go out before 6 weeks do it because they don't have the same discomfort that you had, or they do but choose to ignore it because of other priorities. And really, the worst that happens is that they do some damage to themselves and prolong their healing process - which affects you not at all. At least your opinions on taking the baby out, while controversial, can be argued to come from a place of caring about the health of a defenseless creatures, but most mothers can take care of themselves.

    Oh wow. I really think that happens because they are so few and far between. In Chicago there about 3 or 4 in the downtown area and only 1 on the southside. It sucks.

    Agreed.  This just came up for me because of this guy in my office with blue contacts.

    I just made the distinction because at least it is possible for white people.  Okay yes, some brown people can have blue eyes, but (1) it is unusual and (2) when they do, they don't look like idiots.
  • I judge my crazy neighbors.  The cops are out at their house ALL THE TIME.  They have two kids, and it makes me really sad for them.

    Aweeee  My puppy was spayed not long ago.  When I get home from work, I scream each of my dog's name in a very obnoxious voice that only fellow fur moms could understand.  Well when I picked up the puppy from her surgery, they brought her into the waiting room and I just couldn't contain myself and started screaming her name in the obnoxious voice and all sorts of other things.  The vet tech was very alarmed.

    I can't believe some of you have never had Chipotle!  We love our big burritos in Colorado.  There is a Chipotle or Qdoba on nearly every street, and everybody I know eats there regularly (except maybe Vegans).  Even the dirty Colorado hippies eat there!

  • I always wash my hands after changing E's diaper. That is just gross.

    We might try Chipotle one of the times we have to go to Seatte for one of E's Drs appointments. Starting June 3rd we will be going over once a week.

    I find it crazy how many kids can get their hands on them. Many of the kids,at my center, black and Mexican, wear them and they look ridiculous. 5 of the girls last year were sharing them and had to miss days out of school for pink eye.

  • Still haven't been to Chipotle.  But I DO know how to pronounce it.

    The nearest one is about an hour drive from my apartment.  Someday I have to get some girlfriends and just go.

    I judge women who wear stockings with open toe shoes or sandals.

    I saw someone in the train station that way this morning and all I could think was how stupid it looked.
